how far is National car rental to the Detroit Metro Airport?
It’s about a mile, I guess. However, if you rent a car, you take the shuttle (located outside baggage claim) to the car lot to get the car. Then you drop the car off at the lot and take the shuttle back to the airport. Make sure you know which airline you’re taking so that you get on the correct shuttle going back to the airport!
EDIT: the rental car agency provides the shuttle service for free as a courtesy to people who rent their cars.

You get on a shuttle bus and they take you to the counter.

it’s pretty far, you’ll need a ride to the airport from there. you have to go on a highway type thing so i’d get a shuttle/taxi ect.
