That depends on a lot of things: how long you’re renting, what size car you need, if you have a special discount anywhere (for Triple A or something), how old you are (you can rent cars in New York at 18, but there are insurance fee differences), etc. Your best bet is to look around on hotwire.com or orbitz or something like that, they usually have good deals. But, really, if you are visiting New York City, I wouldn’t bother with a car at all.

I am traveling to Newark NJ and i need to rent a car BUT i am under 25 i am 23 so most places i have gone to online are charging me an arm and a leg to rent a small economy car.
